interBiz, the eBusiness applications division of Computer Associates International, Inc. has announced that EuroDebit Systems GmbH, the German subsidiary of U.S.-based EuroDebit Systems, Inc. an international pioneer in online financial transaction processing services for the European market, selected Masterpiece/Net, interBiz`s financial management solution, to optimize its financial accounting system.
Masterpiece/Net`s advanced features - General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable - will provide EuroDebit Systems GmbH the tools for financial consolidation, multi-currency management and analytical accounting with online drill-down on dynamic segments such as business centres, customers, product groups and cost centres. The software also offers a thin-client architecture based on Windows NT and the Windows 2000 platform.

EuroDebit Systems GMBH plans its quotation on NASDAQ in January 2001. The company`s core technology, DirectDebit, opened up the online payment market to Internet users who are not in possession of credit cards - by providing e-merchants with direct access to 30 million European consumers by processing direct debiting in addition to credit card clearing.
