The new tool affords companies the ability to instantly view the make up of their WAN, evaluate current performance, pin-point trouble spots and ultimately validate the impact next generation WAN compression solutions have on network performance.
The Expand Accelerator monitoring tool is easy-to-install and runs on standard Windows PCs. By plugging a PC into a network hub or a mirrored switch port, the monitoring software provides network managers with immediate insight into all applications running over the WAN. In addition, the solution enables companies to measure potential performance improvements and cost savings with acceleration and ROI calculations based on Accelerator deployment options.
