Expelled USAASA executive fabricates lies to Parliament

Johannesburg, 15 Apr 2015

It has come to the attention of the USAASA board that expelled former employee, Mmatlou Morudu, has written to Parliament bringing into question the qualifications of the chairperson of the boards of USAASA and USAF.

USAASA wishes to state categorically that this is false and that Morudu has misled Parliament.

The following is fact:

Pumla F Radebe is a graduate of Fort Hare University. Contrary to Morudu's false assertion that her "fake qualifications" show a graduation date of 1972, she in fact graduated on 8 April 1977. She registered at Fort Hare as Pumla Fundiswa Ngcwabe. Copies of her academic qualifications have been forwarded to the chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Telecommunications and Postal Services.

Radebe has worked in the developmental space and honed her business skills to the point of chairing a successful JSE-listed company.

It is unfortunate that Morudu has subjected himself to use by parties interested in infiltrating USAASA for purposes of controlling the digital migration project. Morudu is cautioned of the probable repercussions of his malicious statements and continuous attempts to to the defame USAASA leadership.
