Exsol has been named ImageTEK`s Imaging Solution Vendor (ISV) of the year for 1997-98. At a black-tie affair, ImageTEK MD Ian Humphreys presented Exsol MD Tzvi Appel with the award in acknowledgment of Exsol`s leading role in the imaging market in Southern Africa.
"Exsol is our top ISV for the period," says Humphreys, "a reflection of the fact that they are also the market`s leading imaging company."
ImageTEK, founded in 1993, is South Africa`s leading supplier into the R200-million-a-year imaging market. It supplies the specialized hardware and application components for the capture, viewing and storage of document images. Agencies it represents include Fujitsu, Bell & Howell, Hitachi, Kofax, Hewlett Packard and Plasmon.
"We enjoy a great relationship with ImageTEK," says Appel. "ImageTEK is in every sense a value-added distributor. This is a very specialised industry, needing specialised knowledge and solutions. We work closely with the ImageTEK team to put together the right solution for our customers."
