Exspect, a leading technology accessories company, based in the UK, has announced a three-year partnership with the world famous dance music lifestyle group, Ministry of Sound. Represented locally by distributor Phoenix Software, Exspect will produce an exclusive range of Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi products, including speakers, headphones, skins and cases.
The partnership allows both companies to extend their reach to new audiences. Exspect will be able to draw upon the phenomenal following that the Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi brands have cultivated on the global dance music scene. In turn, the Ministry of Sound Group will be able to utilise Exspect's extensive distribution channel to further expand its brand to consumers across the globe.
“Working with Ministry of Sound is a fantastic opportunity to align the Exspect brand with an internationally recognised player in the music space,” says Neil Meredith, Consultant for Exspect. “We will be working very closely with the amazing team at Ministry of Sound to design and develop an unrivalled range for our channel partners. This agreement takes us to a completely new level of quality, innovation and relevance within an ever-changing market.”
Iain Hagger, Group Manager Director, Ministry of Sound Group, adds: “Ministry of Sound celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2011 and as such it seemed a fitting time to re-launch our previously very successful audio business. Excellence in audio is in our DNA, having long been famous for having the world's best club sound system. The addition of the fun and fabulous character of Hed Kandi brings an extra dimension to the offering. We're thrilled to be working with Exspect, who have already demonstrated themselves to be a dynamic and forward-thinking partner.”
CEO of Phoenix Software, Simon Campbell-Young, says he believes the two brands are particularly complementary, and that this is equally relevant to Phoenix Software's representation of the Exspect range locally. “Adding two massive brands like Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi is clearly the highlight of an increasing portfolio of carefully selected and relevant licenses for Exspect. This is another example of Exspect's progressive approach to the accessories market - one of the reasons we have chosen to partner with them. The Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi ranges are likewise a valuable addition to our portfolio of products, and will fill a gap in the local market.”
According to Mike Sanderson, General Manager at Exspect, the accessory company's previous partnerships have been a key contributor to the aggressive expansion it has achieved in the past year, and this partnership will lead to further growth. “Securing such high profile brands with passionate and knowledgeable people can only help us achieve our targets,” he concludes.
