EzPaycheck upgrades payroll software

software provider, Halfpricesoft.com, has released the new edition of ezPaycheck software, which enables users to include deductions unique to their city or local area, SB Wire reports.

EzPaycheck users in New York City specifically had asked for a feature that enabled them to incorporate withholding for the city tax.

Melodika says the Federal Unemployment Tax Act (FUTA), with state unemployment systems, provides for payments of unemployment compensation to workers who have lost their jobs.

Most employers pay both a federal and a state unemployment tax. 6.2% is the default FUTA rate. In some states, companies can take up to 5.4% credit.

“Meeting the specific needs of our customers is an important part of our business model,” says Halfpricesoft.com founder Dr Ge.

EzPaycheck payroll software can be used to report employee wages and salaries to federal, state, and local agencies, with a duplicate copy for the employee, Virtual Strategy Magazine states.

“We believe payroll and tax software should be designed for the non-technical people who are actual end-users,” explains Ge.
