Factorial looks to Imagine

management software vendor Imagine Software has revealed that Factorial Management, a Hong Kong-based hedge fund, has selected its products for back, middle and front office operations, Waters Technology writes.

Imagine will be used by Factorial as its internal booking and accounting system to interface with its prime brokers, as well as its portfolio and risk management software.

Factorial operates multi-asset portfolios that include equity products, fixed income and volatility-based instruments.

GNT quotes Barun Agarwal, CIO of Factorial, as saying: “Our multi-asset class approach required a powerful system with integrated portfolio and risk management capabilities and the capacity to handle a wide range of instruments, which Imagine provided.”

“Following a comprehensive evaluation of nearly half a dozen applications, we found Imagine to be the optimal solution for us. It provided institutional-grade functionality in a cost-effective, cloud-based system that satisfied our operational and risk requirements from front to back. Additionally, Imagine's day-to-day support is excellent and very responsive.” Adam Wallace, COO of Factorial, added.
