
Fairpoint sorry for e-mail problems
The head of FairPoint Communications has apologised publicly for problems affecting customer e-mail accounts in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, reports Sea Coast Online.
During the switch-over from Verizon's systems this month, thousands of customers reported problems.
Jeff Nevins, spokesman for FairPoint, says the billing cycle was affected: “Part of one week, we were without systems. We had to shut down, and so the bills were delayed.”
Billtrust releases billing data offering
E-billing service provider, Billtrust, has unveiled EasyImport 2.0 which allows bill recipients to download billing data received from their supplier directly into their accounting packages, says PR Web.
Businesses can now download billing data into the following accounting packages; QuickBooks, Peachtree, Timberline, Viewpoint, and Dexter and Chaney's Forefront.
