Faritec's executive director of services stepped down from the board on Friday.
Peter Winn resigned from the board, but Faritec did not provide any reasons. The company did, however, thank him for “his valuable contribution over the years”.
Winn was appointed to the company in 1998 and has more than 20 years' local and international experience in business process re-engineering, as well as the installation and implementation of business applications.
He joined Informatica Systems and assisted in the management buyout of the company and the formation of the Faritec Group, and was responsible for driving Faritec's services business.
Faritec is raising at least R60 million to implement its turnaround strategy and ensure it has sufficient funds to continue operating. Last year, the company lost FD Tshidi Nyembe, who quit in April. Nyembe's resignation was followed by that of CEO Simon Tomlinson.
J&J founder Jayendra Naidoo also resigned as Faritec non-executive director, while chairman Chris Jardine chose not to stand for re-election when the company had its annual general meeting recently.
Mncedisi Mayekiso, who was a non-executive director, did not stand for re-election either, after his appointment as SAP's marketing director for Africa.
