Faritec ups black representation

Faritec has appointed Mncedisi Mayekiso, Paul Moses and Ciko Thomas to its board of directors.

"The board of Faritec now consists of six executive and six non-executive directors, seven of whom are black (comprising 58% of the total board), and two of whom are female," notes the company in a JSE statement.

Mayekiso, previously executive director for business development and investments at Enterprise Connection, has been appointed as marketing director.

He has over 11 years` experience in the ICT sector as product manager at IBM SA and partner sales manager at Microsoft SA, says the company.

Moses, previously MD of Enterprise Connection, has been appointed as a non-executive director.

Thomas has also been appointed as a non-executive director, and is described by Faritec as "a marketing professional with more than 13 years` experience, specialising in strategic marketing, brand management, trade and sales operations, innovation and new product development".
