Fifa closely monitors Satyam

World football body Fifa, one of the most coveted clients of the beleaguered Satyam Computer, is closely monitoring the developments, reports A Pakistan News.

“Fifa is closely monitoring the situation related to Satyam,” a Fifa spokesperson said, from Zurich. Satyam is the information technology for the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups.

However, about the existing contract, he said: “Right now, it's too early to make a comment. We are seeking information and waiting for additional information to crop up.”

I-Many licensed to manage contracts

I-Many, provider of contract management software and services, is licensing its products to Sanofi-Aventis Canada, NJBIZ reports.

The licensing deal covers products for contract analysis and management, business intelligence and government pricing matters, I-Many said in a statement.

The software products, according to I-Many, promise to help manage the entire contracting process, from pre-deal through offer development, negotiation, execution, adjudication, post-deal analysis and renewal.

Emptoris gains approval

Emptoris, a provider of enterprise supply and contract management software, has been registered as an approved vendor of spend analysis software by OGCbuying.solutions, a buying organisation for the UK public sector, reports The Earth Times.

"Spend analysis solutions are becoming a mission-critical application for government agencies as they enable greater visibility into and control over spending, improve sourcing and allow more effective collaboration with other government entities,” says Justin Sadler-Smith, public sector director at Emptoris.

“Spend analysis software provides the foundation for a holistic approach to government and should be seen as a key driver to achieving sustainable efficiency savings," he adds.
