Mergers and acquisitions typically result in documents, reports, images and rich media assets vital to day-to-day operations being stored in several different systems on multiple software platforms. Consequently, senior directors struggle to make this information easily and universally accessible.

ViewDirect Total Content Integrator is a fully integrated component of Mobius`s ViewDirect TCM suite of total content management solutions, comprised of enabling software that meets all enterprise content requirements, including Web site, digital asset and document management; workflow and imaging; Internet presentment and payment; records management; and enterprise report distribution.

ViewDirect Total Content Integrator is based on a distributed architecture that uses SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) over HTTP/SSL to access remote repositories and APIs across firewalls. It uses open Web services standards and is fully interoperable with Sun ONE and Microsoft .Net initiatives. The product features out-of-the-box connectors that understand the structure of the content source, an intelligent dictionary mapping service that resolves the relationship between data in disparate repositories, and Web services for distributed searching, user profiling, content retrieval and automatic content presentment.
