Finjan files suit against Secure Computing

Finjan Software, supplier of industrial computer software and hardware has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Secure Computing and its subsidiaries CyberGuard and Webwasher.

The lawsuit, which was filed in US District Court in Delaware, alleges Secure Computing`s new Webwasher Secure Content Management software suite infringes on a Finjan patent for protecting a computer and/or a network against hostile downloads and malicious codes, such as viruses, reports Business Week.

RedDot CMS 7.0 released

Hummingbird, global provider of integrated enterprise content management (ECM) and network connectivity solutions, has announced the release of RedDot Content Management Server 7.0 and LiveServer 2.5 products.

RedDot`s CMS and LiveServer allow business users to manage, edit, share, reuse and control the delivery of content to targeted audiences through corporate Web sites, intranets and extranets, writes Yahoo News.

Hummingbird, recently announced it will be acquired by California investment firm Symphony Technology Group for $465 million in cash.

TerminalFour wins eight Irish govt contracts

ECM provider TerminalFour has announced it has been awarded eight individual contracts for its Site Manager ECM system to power local Irish authority Web sites.

These include Cork City, Sligo, Mayo, Galway City, Galway County, Wexford, Kerry and Westmeath councils, writes ECM Connection.

With combined contract values of 500 000 euros, these deals indicate the current strong public sector demand to make information more accessible to the public, adds the report.
