Security software company FireID has signed a distribution agreement with New Zealand software distributor Chillisoft.
The agreement marks an expansion in FireID's global footprint, as the company now has an offshore presence in North America, Slovenia, and New Zealand.
Chillisoft will market FireID in New Zealand, Australasia and Oceania. The distributor will take FireID to market through its 700-plus resellers, and it will also go direct initially to stimulate market interest.
"We expect significant take-up of FireID in our markets as New Zealand and Australian organisations have often been early adopters of new technology," says Chillisoft business development manager, Steve Smith.
"The growing complexity of security threats means organisations need to be regularly reviewing the way they protect their networks and data. FireID offers a new technology for progressive organisations to manage access," he adds.
"We are very excited to tie up with a distributor of the calibre of Chillisoft," says FireID MD Jenny Dugmore.
