The Internet as a business platform has transformed commerce, and it is now changing internal communications and customer relationship management (CRM) models, and how people interact and communicate.
This move, known as Web 2.0, towards a more inclusive and interactive way for people to do business and live their lives, is surrounded by lots of hype and uncertainty about how it will impact on businesses and our daily lives.
First Tuesday is hosting an event on 3 April 2007 at the Wanderers Club to explore the technology feeding this frenzy and the opportunities created by Web 2.0.
Speakers for the day include Vincent Maher from the Mail & Guardian, Mike Stopforth of Cerebra, and Heather Ford from iCommons.
