FleetDomain and FleetCUBE today announced their joint venture and the official launch of their combined service to the fleet management industry - FleetCUBE Online.
Their collaborative software solution and go-to-market strategy combines 75 years' of fleet management experience and promises to revolutionise how vehicle fleets are managed, maintained and future-planned, irrespective of the size of fleet and number of drivers that a company is responsible for.
FleetCUBE Online is a SaaS- and cloud-based solution offering real-time reporting, integrated data capture and, most importantly, an intelligent system that helps fleet managers to better understand and report on the state of their fleets so that they can take the right decisions at the right time and thereby reduce the total cost of ownership by at least 9% to 15%.
“Rising fuel costs, AARTO, the controversial e-tolling system, onerous employment terms, new taxes, changes in legislation and a continual influx of new vehicles are adding increasing pressure to fleet managers. Add to this budget cuts and the call for greater efficiency means that companies have to become smarter about how they manage their moveable assets,” comments Mike Crankshaw, CEO of FleetCUBE.
“Our system considers all this and more. FleetDomain has built a powerful software engine that the service runs on and, combined with FleetCUBE's customer reach, consulting and service offering, this is a win-win partnership for us and our shareholders and, above all, our customers.”
Product features and benefits include:
* Reporting - standard- and exception-based reports can be run at pre-set times in the month and on an ad hoc basis. This means real-time data and quick decision-making;
* Dashboard indicators - at a quick glance, the data engine behind the product console enables you to see the state of your fleet; red flags are highlighted and, at the click of a button, you can drill down into the detail of the problem;
* Forms - you have the option of printing out or auto-completing all documents required by the traffic departments and AARTO via the system;
* Increased efficiency and improved decision-making when planning and financing future vehicle and mechanism purchases; it'll also tell you when it's a good time to sell your vehicles and what vehicles to replace them with;
* Improved fuel, fraud and usage management based on integrated benchmark data;
* Assistance in the administration of drivers' licences, fines, demerits, hours on the road; and
* Automated alerts on vehicle servicing and licence management.
“Yes, there are a number of players in the global market, but they're mostly proprietary, expensive, lack scale and adaptability and they're not as integrated and comprehensive as the system we have developed,” comments Mike Leicester, MD of FleetDomain, “We have the depth of experience and knowledge of what the industry needs to ensure this solution is unsurpassed. In addition to our developed technical components, we've also integrated with vehicle tracking companies to offer vehicle security, GPS tracking and driver management systems, as well as a company that provides roadside assistance and accident management. It's genuinely all-encompassing and so easy to use.”
The solution is already being used by a number of customers including Dawn Wing couriers and IC Nissan and General Motors dealerships. The partnership and service was officially launched to the market at an event held in Johannesburg last night.
