BPM and workflow for Sage ERP ACCPAC, FloPac, from FlowCentric Technologies, has gone from strength to strength since its official launch at the Sage Insights Solution Provider Conference, 9 to 12 February 2012.
FloPac, which is distributed via the Sage ERP Partner Network, enables companies to optimise their investment in Sage 300 ERP software by providing workflow-enabled processes to automate and control business procedures not inherently handled by Sage ERP.
FloPac from FlowCentric Technologies simplifies process management with a unique process management perspective, which focuses on the business rules that govern a process rather than on a graphical flow-based view of a process. This approach allows FloPac to reduce complex composite process applications to rules at Process, Activity and Form Field level in order to determine routing, integration and visual/display attributes.
The end-to-end BPM solution, designed specifically to optimise Sage ERP and accounting technologies, offers multiple modules for rapid implementation and effective results.

Purchase Order Module
Procurement is part of any organisation's daily business activities; however; most software solutions do not provide a flexible control module between business decisions and the financial system.
FloPac provides this solution in the form of these following processes:

Accounts Payable Reconciliation Module
This module offers a user-friendly method of creating invoice reconciliation. The FloPac Web console is the only interface staff would use to create payment batches from invoices. The FloPac interface gathers all required documentation for the reconciliation and sends it to the FloPac engine. Once a batch is available in AccPac (now Sage 300 ERP), it can be exported to the organisation's banking application for electronic payments.
Contract Management Module
Within organisations there are projects and contract signings, which need to follow unique approval and routing processes. The FloPac contract management process builds rules into each step in the process, allowing organisations to capture all required information, create purchase orders and send notifications for payment according to precise contract rules. The payment notification will then build invoices onto the system, which in turn can be approved for payment through the Accounts Payable Reconciliation Module.
Vendor Management Module
This module allows a user to capture new vendor information via the FloPac interface. The process then routes the data through to management for approval before adding the vendor to the ERP system, consequently ensuring the accuracy of the information and authenticity of the vendor. Vendor information can be managed on this module and synchronised back and forth between the ERP and FloPac system. This module is designed to meet the needs of any organisation as it allows the company to have its vendor data presented in methods that allow it to take advantage of the marketplace. Furthermore, the vendor management system can have an audit trail displayed next to any update.
Proxy Module
The Proxy Module allows users to provide process rights for their role, department or group to a different user when they are not available. Every action taken by the proxy user is recorded and can be fully audited. With this module in place, the risk of company downtime and bottlenecks is drastically reduced, while ensuring that the proxy user is held accountable for their actions.
