PIC Solutions, the leading credit risk management company in Africa and the Middle East, has appointed former Barclays Bank credit executive J Nick Geimer as the head of its Consulting and Analytics practice in Johannesburg.
As Retail Credit Director for the Barclays Sub-Saharan Africa division, Geimer was responsible for lending strategy, credit risk management and marketing analytics for all of the bank's retail product portfolios.
Over the past decade, Geimer has led retail credit management functions across the entire lending life cycle - from prospect targeting to collections and recovery.
Geimer began his career delivering ICT and business solutions for AMS-CGI, the US-based credit systems consultancy, after graduating from Princeton University with a BA in Public Policy and International Affairs. He also holds an MSc in Quantitative Risk Management from the London School of Economics.
Serving both a local and international client base, the PIC Solutions Johannesburg office provides specialist consumer credit risk management consultancy to each of the country's leading credit grantors in the banking, retailing and telecommunications sectors. PIC serves a client base of more than 100 companies in 20 countries from its three offices in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Dubai.
