Fox ITSM South Africa launches exciting 2014 IT governance and service management education offerings and packages

In light of the impending ITIL examination price increases that will be effective from 1 January 2014, accredited training and consulting organisation, Fox IT Service Management South Africa (www.foxitsm.co.za) is pleased to announce the addition of a suite of high-value, internationally accredited online and classroom-based IT service management education packages and solutions.

"It has been an interesting year in the ITIL IT service management industry, and for those who are not aware, the IT Best Management Practice Portfolio, which includes the world-renowned ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) was taken over by a UK joint venture by the name of AXELOS (the joint venture is between the UK government and a privately owned company called Capita)," states Ian Clark, Managing Director.

Clark adds: "The transition process that has unfolded over 2013 has resulted in a number of changes in the IT best practice education industry, with the most notable change being the increase in examination pricing, which Fox ITSM SA, as a fully accredited training organisation (ATO), are obliged to absorb and, ultimately, charge for.

"After a lot of research and discussion with clients, these events and movement in the industry have enabled us to create a number of internationally certified, high-value IT governance and service management course bundles and packages that not only absorb the increased exam pricing, but also add value by allowing the students to fast track their learning with no compromise on quality. These new course bundles, coupled with several additions to our role-based ITSM workshops, firmly establish Fox ITSM SA as a leading African IT governance and service management industry specialist moving into 2014," finalises Clark.
