FOXit, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and service provider focused on project and portfolio management in business, has been appointed as a value-added reseller (VAR) partner in South Africa for Nintex, a global innovator of software to help organisations extend the value of SharePoint applications and enterprise project management (EPM) deployments.
The two EPM and workflow management powerhouses have combined their respective technologies to enhance the value of workflow technology to the developing South and southern Africa market through the distribution of on-premise and cloud-based EPM solutions.
Management from both companies view this market as strategic and largely untapped. They believe businesses throughout key regions are ready to exploit cloud solutions to enhance their ICT infrastructure capability and automate business process functionality.
FOXit is the only EPM certified local distributor of various internationally acclaimed Microsoft certified solutions, including Nintex Workflow, with all solutions based on Microsoft Business Productivity Stack.
The Nintex Workflow for Project Server 2010 product has been added to the FOXit solution stack for distribution. This will enable clients in South Africa to benefit from the fact that any user has the ability to create a sophisticated workflow without a single line of code or related skill sets.
Nintex Workflow 2010 adds a drag-and-drop workflow designer, connectivity and advanced workflow features to Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
Nintex provides 24-hour support and partners undergo in-depth product training.
“We find that SharePoint fits into a wide variety of business platforms. SharePoint 2010 is a fantastic product that can help a broad range of users. We believe that workflow solutions fit a wide variety of SharePoint users' needs - and FOXit is great at helping them do so,” says Mike Fitzmaurice, Vice-President of Product Technology, Nintex.
Fitzmaurice is confident the strategy formulated and put in place by the partnership will meet the technology needs in South Africa. He also believes FOXit is the right premier partner to manage and add value to this growing market.
He says Nintex is a partnership-driven, global company that operates in 90 countries and has over 500 partners. It seeks to partner with service providers that know their products and understand the market.
“FOXit is an innovative, forward-thinking, agile company and it made sense to form a partnership with them. We like working with hardcore Microsoft Project people who understand organisations,” adds Fitzmaurice.
Aldo van Tonder, CEO at FOXit, is equally confident of the partnership and believes the inherent qualities of Nintex products complement the company's offering and its go-to-market strategy.
“Since inception, our core philosophy has been to challenge the way technology is perceived. We know there are benefits to using the technology and these solutions will add measurable value. This partnership is about user experience and demonstrating that there is such a thing as user-friendly, high-performance EPM and workflow technology. We are proud to be the premier partners to Nintex and we are excited about engaging with existing and emerging business in South Africa,” says Van Tonder.
