Management at FOXit will use the company's presence at the SharePoint 2012 Conference to rattle the cages of delegates, and remind the market of the importance of the relevance of project management as well as mobility and user experience in business.
FOXit is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and service provider focused on project and portfolio management in business.
The company is a sponsor of the SharePoint partner event, scheduled for 27 and 28 February, at the Sandton Sun Hotel, Gauteng.
CEO at FOXit, Aldo van Tonder, stated he is relishing the opportunity to engage with the market, and specifically, discuss the advances within the convergence of new technologies and benefits from a SharePoint and project management perspective.
“One of our focus areas going forward is to encourage the market to view technology through different eyes. This means not only appreciating the value and inherent benefits of advanced project and portfolio management systems, but also being aware of the influence and application of mobility, replication, data virtualisation and much more,” says Van Tonder.
The company has played an instrumental role in securing the benefit of Sharepoint applications for its target market.
This has been facilitated through FOXit's status as a value added reseller (VAR) partner in South Africa for Nintex, a global innovator of software to help organisations extend the value of SharePoint applications and project and portfolio management (PPM) deployments.
The Nintex Workflow for Project Server 2010 product has been added to FOXit's solution stack for distribution. This will enable clients in South Africa to benefit from the fact that any user has the ability to create a sophisticated workflow without a single line of code or related skill sets.
Nintex Workflow 2010 adds a drag-and-drop workflow designer, connectivity and advanced workflow features to the Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
Van Tonder believes the inherent qualities of Nintex products complement the company's offering and its go-to-market strategy.
“Our viewpoint is that Sharepoint adds value to a variety of business platforms. The partnership is about user experience and demonstrating that there is such a thing as user-friendly, high-performance PPM and workflow technology,” he adds.
Van Tonder is also scheduled to speak at the forthcoming Microsoft Project Conference, in Phoenix, Arizona, in March.
