Free seminar for business process managers

International guru visiting SA.

Johannesburg, 28 Jul 2010

Global 360, a provider of process and document management solutions, has teamed up with Mark McGregor, an international business process management guru, to deliver a series of free seminars. The event is designed to arm business process leaders, managers and practitioners with the tools and techniques needed to drive successful process management programmes.

An internationally acclaimed speaker, Mark has wowed audiences all over the world with his unique approach to blending business, process and people skills.

Mark's broad skill base and vocal talents help to bring fun to the more serious aspects of business. He has variously been described as a "master of mindset" by IQPC and a "BPM guru" by industry analysts Gartner Group.

According to Global 360 SA regional sales director, Tim Stanley, organisations everywhere are faced with challenges never seen before - a need to do more with less. “Less people, less investment and less resources. To survive we will need to work harder, but can we work smarter?”

“During the past three years Mark has personally trained over 300 people around the globe in process analysis and design and is considered by many as a leading authority in the areas of mapping and modelling.”

Mark was one of the co-creators of the 8 Omega Framework, as provided as a free resource and taught by the BPMG. The framework blends the four key perspectives of strategy, people, process and systems to provide the cohesive structure required for any serious process improvement initiatives.

In addition, he has run workshops and seminars around the world attended by over 1 000 people, to critical acclaim. Mark has a unique background having worked with many of the leading vendors, as well as users from many industries.

The seminar aims to address:

* Why people centric process management?
* The process of change
* Learning the business of BPM
* Leveraging the wisdom of crowds
* Dealing with the IT dilemma
* Applying the concept of "next practice"
* The key to unlock your BPM success

“Whether you are embarking on a change management programme or already well under way with delivering business process change, the seminar will be invaluable to you. Register now to secure your free place,” he adds.

All attendees will also be given a copy of a new book: "People Centric Process Management” by Mark McGregor and Ian Gotts.

Global 360 is the leading independent provider of process and document management solutions. For more than 20 years, Global 360 has helped more than 2 000 customers in 70 countries reduce paper, automate processes, and empower individuals to deliver increased productivity, service levels, and business performance while reducing operational costs.

Traditional business process management solutions focus on the way work moves through a process. Extensive customer implementation experience and two years of focused research led Global 360 to ensure our solutions focus on the way work gets done by empowering all the people critical to the success of your business processes: the builders who design and develop the systems, the participants that work within the system every day, and the managers who monitor and manage the business.

This next generation of BPM - Persona-based Business Process Management (BPM) - is the first BPM approach to focus on the way work gets done and how to do it better. Persona-based BPM improves the user experience, interactions, and collaboration of all the participants in a process. It focuses more broadly on the way work gets done by examining all the people and tasks critical to the success of BPM solutions, and delivers out-of-the-box solutions focused on these unique personas. A Persona-driven approach can dramatically increase productivity and reduce costs for your business compared to traditional BPM solutions.

Headquartered in Texas with operations in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, and South Africa, Global 360 is a leader in business process and document management solutions with unmatched strength delivering solutions for enterprise and government customers across all industries in 70 countries.
