FrontRange Solutions South Africa MD to move on

Tracey Newman, managing director of FrontRange Solutions South Africa, is to leave the company at the end of April for personal reasons.

"I have reached a time in my life when the needs of my two-year-old son are paramount," Newman said today.

Newman has been with FrontRange Solutions South Africa for eight years, five as managing director, in which time it has become the strongest-performing region of all the company`s global operations.

"As difficult as it is to move on from a successful company, my decision has been made somewhat easier by the fact that growth opportunities as well as our current performance and product roll-out are all pointing strongly in the right direction," Newman said.

FrontRange Solutions Global Chief Financial Officer, John Hillyard, paid tribute to Newman`s achievements: "Total revenue this year will be up by 80% compared with revenue five years ago, before Tracey took over leadership of the company. And the momentum is positive - this year alone, the company is expected to generate an annual growth rate of 30% in licences, 38% in total revenue and 61% in total income.

"We`re disappointed that Tracey is leaving FrontRange Solutions but we respect her decision and wish her well, knowing that she will always be a proud FrontRange Solutions brand ambassador," said Hillyard.

Following Newman`s departure and until a new regional managing director is appointed, Paul Bornhutter, product manager for South Africa, will be customers` leadership point of contact in South Africa. In addition, Hillyard, as the company`s global chief financial officer, will be joined by FrontRange Solutions` professional services head, Paul Steadman, in becoming more directly involved in leading the South African operation.

Hillyard said these arrangements indicate clearly how important this region and the company`s customers here remain to FrontRange Solutions globally.
