Faculty Training Institute's (FTI's) CEO and staff are pleased to announce that Carol Mould has been appointed as Project Management Portfolio Manager of FTI. A passionate and esteemed academic with a notable track record as a partner in a national project management consultancy, Mould brings real-world experience to the classroom.
Mould, who has Project Management Professional (PMP) status, is a notable contributor to the project management industry and has served as an office bearer at Project Management South Africa (PMSA). The PMSA is a not-for-profit, voluntary professional association representing the interests of project, programme and portfolio management practitioners in South Africa. Mould brings her robust experience, credibility, pragmatism and commitment to lifelong learning to FTI, as the leading training firm begins its next phase of expansion.
CEO Steve Erlank said Mould is the best choice to grow FTI's project management portfolio. Mould has been working in various capacities at FTI over the last 12 years, including teaching, course design and development and course management. "We have been most impressed with her achievements as Programme Manager and sought to retain Mould's expertise on a full-time basis," says Erlank.
Mould is passionate about learning and walks-the-walk, having herself completed four degrees and is currently well on her way to completing her fifth degree - an MCom in Organisational Psychology at the University of Cape Town. Mould joins FTI after relinquishing her partnership in a successful project management consultancy that she part-owned for seven years.
Mould's immediate goals at FTI are to substantially grow FTI's project management portfolio, broaden its reach, and grow and develop new markets. Mould says that coming on board as Project Management Portfolio Manager at FTI is an exciting challenge. "I look forward to being a full-time member of the FTI team and to firmly establish FTI as the leading project management training firm in the country," says Mould.
