Fujifilm North America has revealed that its Graphic Systems Division will sponsor an educational session during the PODi AppForum 2011Conference in Las Vegas, states Advertiser Talk.

Part of the show's Digital Print Technologies Track, the session titled 'Double-Duty Technology - Strategies to Cut Costs While Driving Revenue' will delve into the real-world experiences of two print providers who are putting technology to work for their businesses.

The session will help printers navigate the process of workflow automation, understanding the and ROI. It will also explore the critical elements of an e-commerce strategy to reduce turnaround times and reduce costs.

Ricoh targets Indian Arts Segment

Ricoh India, a subsidiary of Ricoh Company Japan, provider of imaging solutions has shared its plans to target the fast-emerging Graphic Arts Segment in India, reveals Business Standard.

To this end, the company unveiled its new offering, an advanced colour printing press designed specifically for professional production printing segment. This was disclosed at a press conference.

Speaking on the occasion, N Maitra, managing director, Ricoh India remarked, “Globally, Ricoh strives to offer products, solutions and services that are innovative, have strong customer focus and are true value for money.”

Xerox holds six-day expo

Xerox India, an enterprise for digital production printing, business process and document management, showcased its latest digital printing range of equipments at Print Pack, a six-day print expo at New Delhi, notes IIFL.

Xerox also showcased a range of short run, trans-promotional, specialty imaging, printing & photo printing applications.

These applications demonstrate the opportunities and variety of innovations possible with digital printing. The highlight at the Xerox stand was the release of Xerox Colour 1000 press which is being touted as a landmark in digital printing.
