Fujitsu named champion

Fujitsu has been positioned as a "Champion" in a January 2009 BPMS Market Update report published by Bloor Research, writes MSNBC.

According to the report, "Champions" offer "well-grounded tools with good support for both human and systems oriented processes".

In a recent article based on the research, analyst Simon Holloway noted: "Fujitsu Interstage Business Process Manager is, in Bloor's view, one of the best BPMS products on the market at present.”

Symyx releases Notebook 6.1

Symyx Technologies recently announced the release of Symyx Notebook 6.1, supporting analytical chemistry and biology workflows, says CNN Money.

This second major release of Symyx Notebook meets the needs of scientists for capturing, querying, and reporting on numerous experimental methods and across the highly variable spectrum of experimentation encountered by analytical chemists and biologists.

"R&D organisations often repeat experiments simply because it is easier and faster to rerun them than to find them," said Trevor Heritage, president of Symyx Software. "Symyx Notebook 6.1 changes that, and makes it easy to find the right information quickly."

Empower, LotusLive integrate

iEnterprises will integrate its Empower CRM with IBM LotusLive, reports The Cloud Computing Journal.

The integration offers LotusLive users a more complete view and enhanced management capabilities of contacts, documents, pipelines and other important information needed to keep prospects and customers engaged.

Furthermore, the integration enables LotusLive users to access and share their information in or out of the office via the BlackBerry smartphone, Windows Mobile and soon, the Apple iPhone.
