Fujitsu offers SMEs free cloud trial
Internet service vendors for a free trial of its Australian-based computing cloud platform, in an attempt to generate interest beyond the enterprise sector, Smart Office reports.
The trial will run for two months, until the end of January, and covers infrastructure services, software services and platforms services.
In February this year, Fujitsu was named as the second most trusted provider of enterprise-grade cloud services in Australia by analyst Longhaus, iTWire says.
But it is now attempting to seed demand outside of the enterprise and government sectors where it has enjoyed some early success.
According to International Business Times, SMEs and independent software vendors (ISVs) in Australia that want to first test if cloud computing is the most appropriate solution for their business needs could make use of Fujitsu Australia's free two-month trial period of the cloud computing service.
The offer covers 2 x 1GHz CPU, 3.4GB of memory, 10GB of OS space, 50GB storage and one public IP address. The offer for ISVs is for a smaller free config, one CPU, 1.7GB of memory and 30GB of additional disk space.
