With software as a service (SaaS) gaining momentum globally and internationally, Fulcrum and Internet Solutions (IS) recently joined forces to provide a cost-effective joint offering to organisations requiring Microsoft Project Server 2007.
The offering is fully managed and hosted in IS' Hosting facility. The hosted solution enjoys all the business benefits of Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) without the costly capital expenditure associated with the establishment of EPM.
Furthermore, as the solution is based on the SaaS model, costs are based on a per user per month usage, ideal for the varying nature of staff on projects, and operational expense rather than a capital outlay.

Another potential cost saving is the optional provision of a part-time EPM administrator provided by Fulcrum, which is able to access the system remotely.
