FYI - the Electronic Document Management and Workflow toolset made popular in Southern Africa by SGA Integrators, is alive and well, and enjoying more support and attention than ever before. Not only are the SGA clients becoming extremely proficient in the system usage and the size of their installed bases growing dramatically, but the attention of SGA`s business partners has also been hightened by the increase in revenue earning opportunities. Rethink Management Consulting is one of these partners who have cemented a tried and tested relationship with SGA and its FYI clients. Rethink, with a team of 13 highly qualified workflow process specialists, and SGA with its well trained and very experienced technical team of 18 dedicated EDM/WF specialists, together make up one of South Africa`s leaders in this field.
FYI, authored by Identitech in the USA, is currently receiving some major enhancements and additions to its already great functionality, by SGA Integrators, right here in South Africa. Global Process Automation - an SGA Group company focussed on product development for international distribution, produced a world leading browser based electronic forms portal called Dejevu, which is being integrated into the FYI product suite. FYI Smartforms (the Identitech product name for the module), will become the backbone of the FYI 'B2B` strategy. This is another example of how well placed South Africans, and in particular, SGA are in the internet environment, for the development of robust, enterprise wide solutions. SGA and Identitech staff, albeit well acquainted through a supplier / integrator relationship for three years, have now entered into an extremely close working relationship, with top product specialists travelling both ways between SA and the USA, on a frequent and regular basis. Although SGA`s global business is receiving a significant boost, the most important benefits will be felt here in South Africa by South African businesses. This is one of the very rare occasions where South African requirements have stood proud before the traditional international IT marketplaces, and shows that our skillsets are as advanced and good, if not even better, than those available elsewhere, worldwide. More exciting, is that these skills are all Java / XML orientated - the now proven, leading-edge technologies required for the non-proprietory, independent, market leading solution providors of today, and more importantly, tomorrow.
The relationship between SGA and Identitech, for FYI, has now broadened to include Siemens Business Services. Siemens, although very new in the relationship, have become Identitech`s first truly global, dedicated FYI reseller. Naturally, SGA`s relationship and commitment to the product is also key to their local success in this role.
FYI, the EDM/WF toolkit from Identitech, is distributed, sold, and supported in Sub-Saharan Africa, by SGA Integrators and its business partner network.
