Two middle-aged mothers became involved in a violent row over a child`s PlayStation game, a court heard yesterday, according to new.scotsman.com.
Joanne Reid, 41, confronted Jean Kirkwood at her home after the latter`s son refused to hand back the video game to her boy.
Kirkwood, 47, turned on Reid, smacking her on the face, before sinking her teeth into her arm.
PS 2, Xbox top played
PlayStation 2 and Xbox are the top two used consoles from April to November of this year, according to research from The Nielsen Company, reports Xbox Circle.
The Xbox (13.9%) really shouldn’t be mentioned with the PlayStation 2, as Sony’s console (42.2%) completely dominates usage time with gamers.
Nielsen measured the total amount of minutes its participants spent playing videogames, then divided those minutes between all current and last-generation consoles.
The Incredible Machine wins
Vivendi Games Mobile has been awarded "Best Casual Mobile Game" at the 5th Annual Spike TV 2007 "Video Game Awards" for The Incredible Machine for mobile, according to CNNMoney.
The Incredible Machine was also nominated for "Mobile Game of the Year."
"We are extremely honoured to once again be recognised for the high-quality and creativity of our titles and take home such a highly regarded mobile award from Spike TV," said Paul Maglione, president of Vivendi Games Mobile.
