Gartner to stage data centre event

Research company Gartner`s first European Data Centre Summit will take place from 29 to 30 November at Hotel Okura, Amsterdam.

Gartner says the summit is aimed at data centre executives, IT managers, storage managers and anyone with an infrastructure role. The research firm says over 31 000 professionals attend the event each year.

This year`s theme is 'Navigating your path to the IT infrastructure of tomorrow`.

The research firm says the demands on IT infrastructure are changing, and that IT has to quickly adapt to changing requirements. Gartner`s infrastructure analysts and industry speakers will focus on the steps that need to be taken over the next five years.
