Gearworks updates workforce management

Gearworks has released etrace 7.1, an enhanced version of its and Web-based mobile workforce management solution which enables enterprises to supervise and optimise their personnel and activities in the field as easily as they do in the office, says PRWeb.

The product taps the GPS capabilities of wireless mobile devices to provide organisations full visibility of its workers in the field.

By delivering real-time supervision and coordination, enterprises can integrate multiple aspects of their business, enhance efficiencies and improve overall productivity.

HSBC offers low-wage e-payroll

HSBC Middle East has unveiled Payroll Card Service, which will allow customers to process salary payments electronically while giving their employees the benefit of and the convenience of a debit card, reports AME Info.

The service is being provided in partnership with C3 Card, a company specialising in prepaid card and payroll services.

With this new service, companies employing a large number of low wage earners can ensure convenient and timely payments of employee salaries. The MasterCard prepaid card can be used at ATMs across the UAE and the world.

Ascentis intros Payroll 3.0

Ascentis, a provider of HR software and online payroll services, has released its payroll product upgrade, Ascentis Payroll 3.0, states PRWeb.

Ascentis Payroll is a Web-based payroll software system that processes payroll in real-time, ensuring 100% accuracy, flexibility and control.

Real-time payroll processing means clients do not have to transmit data to a processing centre, use batch uploads, or wait for batch processing or transmission windows.
