Genesys joins Cisco Developer Network

Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, a software unit of Alcatel-Lucent, has become the member of Cisco Developer Network as a registered developer within the unified communications technology category, reports TMCnet.

In addition, Genesys SIP Server, version 8.0.0, has achieved interoperability testing with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, version 7.The Cisco Developer Network Program brings together Cisco along with third-party developers of hardware and software.

This collaboration is set to provide hardened and tested interoperable capabilities to both their customer bases. The programme helps consumers to rapidly install a wide range of Cisco Compatible business applications, appliances, or services that can improve upon the capabilities, performance, and management of their deployed Cisco network.

Mobile CRM market grows

According to Forrester Research, global investment on CRM is expected to touch $11 billion annually by 2010, as companies strive to grow topline revenues, improve customer experience, and boost the productivity of customer-facing staff, states CIOL.

CRM strategies are going mobile with the advent of handsets featuring applications for CRM. Frost & Sullivan reports that the enterprise market in India is worth about Rs 354 crore (R587 million) growing at 30% to 40% over the past three years.

Shubho Bhattacharya, CEO, CDC CRM Solutions says: "We see a big shift in the market with more and more workers across companies having access to devices. According to a survey, this could be as high as 60% by next year.”

Neocase unveils HR contact centre solution

Neocase Software has unveiled the Neocase HRForce, a human resource contact centre solution, says MarketWatch.

The solution addresses the needs of small to medium enterprises' HR organisations that seek rapid technology deployment and solutions. The company says HRForce enables real-time performance monitoring by delivering relevant content and key performance indicators to HR staff and employees.

Additionally, notes the company, HRForce is ideal for HR organisations that require a platform to accommodate multiple processes while streamlining and those processes to increase efficiency and productivity, and drive down operational costs.
