Infor Business Solutions AG, the German software company quoted on Frankfurt`s Neuer Markt, is currently facing the biggest order in the history of the company
Infor:COM, the ERP solution developed by the leading German provider of complete business solutions for small and medium-sized companies, will be used to support operational management and control in German federal institutions. The software will initially be customised and set up in accordance with the customer`s requirements. Once this phase has been successfully completed, other institutions will be similarly equipped. The total value of the order, including consulting services, is currently worth an 8-figure Deutsche mark sum.
According to a federal spokesperson, the main reason for the decision in favour of Infor AG was that the standard functionality provided by the infor:COM system already covers a high number of the customer`s requirements, with the result that the level of customisation needed is significantly less than would be required for competing systems or if the federal authorities were to develop their own system.
