Gestetner South Africa has appointed Alan Austin as the new general manager of sales. Austin will be responsible for managing all aspects relating to Gestetner`s product sales in SA and will report to Gestetner managing director, Richard Pinker.
Austin started at Gestetner on 1 October 2003 after having run his own business previously in the copying/printing industry and gaining valuable experience in the UK, where he focused on output management.
"Alan will play a major role in driving the total document solutions proposition of Gestetner," says Pinker. "Dealers and Gestetner sales people need to understand the importance of selling total document solutions to their customers and Alan`s understanding of this market will assist the team in delivering on these targets."
