The launch of the new Aficio multifunctional CS210e colour document solution from Gestetner, with embedded E-650 EFI-Fiery Print Controller, brings high-end copy, print, scan and edit functions to sophisticated users who want complete control over their entire colour document management needs.
The CS210e provides complete workgroup control over all colour and mono origination, scanning, editing, image enhancement, printing, copying and finishing across the computer network.
According to Gestetner national technical service manager Abdul Arend, the CS210e is appropriate for specialist users such as printers or Central Reprographic Departments, and as a centralised workgroup resource in businesses which produce high levels of colour copy and print work.
The solution is ideal for existing users of colour copying, whose requirements for quality and productivity are always growing. Graphic design, advertising agencies and engineering companies are obvious examples, but the range of potential users is on a constant upward path as people everywhere come to expect higher and higher standards of company documentation.
"It enables users to manage the entire colour production process from document origination, through image enhancement and colour management, to printed output," he adds.
As a centralised workgroup solution, it also includes high capacity paper-handling, auto duplex and finishing functions to maximise productivity, and can be used as a high-definition mono document solution.
