Zwane-Chikura will also sit on the company's board as an executive director, the company said yesterday in a news alert to shareholders.
Gijima says Zwane-Chikura's appointment “follows the board and management's approval of the company's new operating structure, the client-centric matrix model”. The new model will be implemented under CEO Jonas Bogoshi's leadership.
Zwane-Chikura is a “veteran” in the ICT services and business consulting fields with an “illustrious career”, says Gijima's statement.
She has held various senior positions in major multinational ICT companies and “big five” consulting firms in SA and various parts of the African continent.
“Zwane-Chikura will, as COO, inter alia be tasked with driving innovation and enhancing service delivery towards the company's clients,” says chairman Robert Gumede.
