JSE-listed GijimaAst has signed a dealer agreement with telecommunications company, comms4U, as a distributor of the NEC Philips range of voice and data solutions for the small and medium market.
NEC Philips` solution for the small and medium-sized market, the SOPHO IPC 100, is a complete IP-PBX communication solution, which provides the latest voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) technology for small and medium businesses (SMBs).
"Comms4U have over 12 years of local and international experience in the telecommunications arena and it is through their in-depth knowledge that we can gain a better understanding of this market," says Hilda Norton of GijimaAst.
"Working with partners like Comms4U allows us to pool our resources to cost-effectively provide customised solutions to the SMB market."
"We have confidence in GijimaAst and NEC Philips Unified Solutions in supplying us with a rich portfolio of voice and data solutions and services in the years to come. Based on this we can continue to offer our clients innovative solutions, meeting the needs of their changing requirements," explains Fred van den Bergh of comms4U. "This will enable our clients to further improve their business processes and control and/or reduce their voice and data costs."
The geographical footprint of GijimaAst in southern Africa further provides Comms4U with a back-to-back support for its clients.
The Philips SOPHO IPC 100 is a hybrid IP-PBX communication solution, which provides the latest VOIP technology for small businesses with eight to 50 extensions. A highly flexible and user-friendly telephony solution that is both `future-proof` and fully scalable for growth.
Designed to satisfy the growing needs of SMBs, the Philips SOPHO IPC 100 is a professional, easy to use, easy to install communication solution. With a range of powerful features, a business will become more client-focused. Unlike most competitive systems, the IPC 100 does not force a business to throw away existing equipment, as it is scalable. It is the only phone system that can start as small as three exchange lines and eight extensions and grow to 96 extensions without having to replace a single item.
