Navision Software has announced an international agreement with Columbus IT-Partner, a leading worldwide reseller based in Denmark, to market Navision Software`s end-to-end, e-commerce and collaborative solutions for mid-market e-businesses. Columbus IT-Partner will market the Navision solutions through 28 offices in 12 countries.
According to Navision Software SA managing director Keith Mullan, Columbus IT-Partner has chosen Navision Software as a strategic partner because of Navision Software`s unique international presence in the mid-market. "I believe with this agreement, Columbus will be able to continue building its base of truly international customers, and enhance its competitive position in the mid-market."
Mullan says under the agreement, Columbus IT-Partner will train and certify employees of each of its 28 regional offices to market Navision solutions before December 31, 2000.
By 2003, Navision Software plans to be the biggest software supplier to Columbus IT-Partner, which will make Columbus one of the largest value added resellers of Navision products. A key to reaching that goal is Columbus` entrance to Navision Software`s program of consistent collaboration on International Key Accounts. Over the past few years, the number of Navision Software`s international customers has increased to more than 280.
Managing director of Columbus IT Partner in South Africa Eyvind Jonsson says the Company has experienced a growing demand for services from international customers with other ERP systems. "The agreement between Navision Software and Columbus IT Partner will enable us to use our international implementation methodology also on Navision Software in South Africa, where we believe Navision Software has done an excellent job in branding the software in the market for medium sized companies."
The global agreement between Columbus IT Partner and Navision Software which takes effect from August 2000 adds to the product range of Columbus IT Partner, and as early as December 2000, the Company will be able to offer local sale and servicing of Navision Software in more countries than any other distributor.
