EDS and Sofrecom have announced the signature of their global agreement which, by leveraging their respective expertise and know-how, is aiming at providing the telecommunication operators community of customers with innovative BSS and OSS solutions.
The two partners will base their solutions on state-of-the-art BSS and OSS platforms inclusive of Sofrecom Ga"ia suite. Immediately following the conclusion of their agreement, EDS and Sofrecom have initiated joint marketing and sales activities.
As a side effect of the global agreement, EDS has set up a centre of expertise around the Ga"ia BSS/OSS suite and is now acting as a fully empowered systems integrator for this technology.
According to J'er^ome Descoins, Sales and Marketing Manager of Sofrecom in SA, "this partnership is an important step to consolidate the presence of Sofrecom worldwide, and especially in southern Africa".
Sofrecom has been present in southern Africa thanks to business with various telecommunications in the region since the 1980s.
