Global Technology Limited`s Australian subsidiary, Global Technology Australasia (GTA), has announced an alliance agreement with Sterling Commerce, a worldwide provider of business-to-business electronic commerce software, banking application solutions, and value-added services.
The agreement gives Global Technology Limited the right to market the Sterling Commerce VECTOR:Cash currency management in SA and GTA the right to market the system in Australia and New Zealand. VECTOR:Cash is the premier solution for identifying and assuring quality cash services. It is a Windows-based system that allows for complete management of any institution`s vault, teller and ATM cash.
Ray Leonard, CEO of Global Technology and chairman of Global Technology Australasia, explains, "For our customers, the advantages of VECTOR:Cash are twofold. Firstly, it identifies where surplus cash is located so that it can be re-invested. Secondly, it ensures that adequate cash is always available in the required denominations for every location."
This strategic partnership with Sterling Commerce`s Banking Systems division enables Global Technology Limited to extend its offerings to customers throughout South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, for whom traditionally, management of vault, teller and ATM cash has been challenging.
