Global Technology (Glotec), listed on the JSE Securities Exchange, has enhanced its offering and value-add to the financial services community with the launch of Enrich, a new suite of financial administration software. Enrich consists of a core investment engine and modules for employee benefits, unit trusts and linked investments that will fulfil the need for a functionally-rich, locally developed and supported investment software solution.
Says Ray Leonard, CEO of Global Technology: "The new suite is already achieving success in the marketplace. Absa Consultants and Actuaries and First Mutual Zimbabwe use Enrich, while Old Mutual Zimbabwe, Tanzania`s Parastatal Pensions Fund, and Zimbabwe`s Kingdom Asset Management have signed deals to implement."
Glotec`s extensive development and consulting skills and experience throughout Africa and SA have enabled the company to develop a system that inherently understands and adapts to the dynamic intricacies of legislation and trading conditions on the African continent.
The suite automatically facilitates premium raising, receipting, and reconciliation and allocation to assurers, brokers and investment managers. It also offers integrated quotation, claims and payment management, catering for the production of manual and electronic payment types. Member withdrawals, retirement and insured benefit claims are fully supported and effectively administered.
"Full financial performance data is stored and reported to scheme managers while independent financial advisers can receive sales administration support, client management information and full financial performance reporting - functionality the financial services community needs to remain competitive," says Leonard.
"Enrich`s flexibility and scalability make it ideal for any organisation administering compound linked investments. With a proven track record of implementing core banking and financial systems on time and within budget at close on 1 000 banking institutions, insurance companies, intermediaries and leading corporations, we are positioned to service the financial investments market in Africa," he concludes.
