Graphic Mining Solutions International (GMSI), a division of the AST Group, has been appointed as the preferred supplier, integrator and project manager of ProdTrak to AngloGold`s Vaal River operations. GMSI has also signed a Distribution Agreement with AlphaWest Software to cover sub-Saharan Africa.
ProdTrak, supplied by Australian-based AlphaWest Software, is a fully integrated production management system specifically suited to the mining and mineral processing industry. It enables reconciliation across the entire production process with simple data entry procedures and extensive reporting capabilities.

"We always advise clients on the best solution and for this environment ProdTrak`s flexible capabilities were ideal."
"ProdTrak can be used to manage mining and processing sites separately, or together as a fully integrated package and also cater for areas such as budgets and forecasting, finished product tracking, equipment performance and commercial system interfacing," continues Upshall.
In Australia, ProdTrak is used in underground and open cut mines and associated processing facilities. The product is used in the mining and processing of Nickel, Gold, Bauxite, Lead, Zinc, Uranium and Copper.
