GoalData, specialised distributors of network-based fax products, this week held a series of conferences to promote Teleform, a solution for total data collection for departmental to enterprise-wide applications.
Teleform is able to convert large volumes of hand-written or typed forms received by fax or scanner to computer readable format. These are written to a number of databases.
The product also has an add-on module called Teleform Internet, which converts paper-based forms into full-featured Web forms and automates Internet/intranet data collection.
The application of Teleform is undertaken by Goaldata although individual companies have to manage their own databases, the company said.
Teleform was developed by Cardiff Software, a supplier of data capture solutions.
