Cymtec unveils SME network optimisation device

Cymtec Systems unveiled its Cymtec Sentry Stand-Alone solution which it says provides network optimisations without the need for a separate centralised management console, reports PR-USA.

The solution combines network appliance and management consoles into a single hardware platform, targeting small single office environments to provide traffic visibility, bandwidth shaping, enterprise Web enforcement and network threat detection.

"Smaller single office environments are often overlooked by IT due to misconceptions about the cost and time it would take to manage them," says Andrew Rubin, president and CEO, Cymtec Systems. "The enhanced, combined features found in Cymtec Sentry Stand-Alone dispel this hurdle and will allow both IT staff and end-users to work more efficiently."
