Gordon Frazer appointed MD of Microsoft South Africa

Microsoft South Africa has announced the appointment of Gordon Frazer as Managing Director at Microsoft South Africa with immediate effect. Frazer joined Microsoft in 1995 and has fulfilled many roles, including the management of the application developer and enterprise groups.

In December 2001, Frazer was appointed Deputy Managing Director in charge of sales, marketing and services.

"I look forward to taking on my new responsibilities and I`m truly proud to be working with a dedicated team of people that are passionate about technology and the possibilities it presents to realise SA`s potential," says Frazer.

"During the last 10 years, the Microsoft South Africa team has done an enormous amount of work in providing our customers and partners with innovative technology solutions to enhance their businesses and enrich their lives."

Mark Hill, outgoing Managing Director of Sub-Saharan Africa Region, has announced that he will take on a position with Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, Washington, USA.

Details of the position will be announced in due course.

Hill joined Microsoft in 1992 and was appointed Managing Director in January 1998.
