SA`s competition authority has given the go ahead for Business Connexion (BCX) to sell a portfolio of properties to Growthpoint Properties.
On Friday the companies told the Johannesburg bourse all conditions for the R379 million sale had been fulfilled.
BCX`s shares closed at R8.20 on Friday, 9c off Thursday`s close, while Growthpoint closed at R10, 30c off its Thursday close.
In June, BCX, which is the subject of a takeover bid by Telkom, said it had agreed to sell its portfolio of properties around the country to the JSE-listed Growthpoint Properties.
The eight properties, with a gross to let area of 48 065 square metres, are in Midrand, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town and Port Elizabeth and have been owned by BCX for almost a decade.
