Guidon rolls out PM software

Management consulting firm Guidon Performance Solutions has unveiled a project management (PM) solution, writes Managing Automation.

The GuidonVue enterprise project portfolio management suite can help organisations accelerate project execution while delivering superior results at lower costs, the company says.

Designed for any project-focused area of the organisation - from IT to lean Six Sigma to customer implementations - GuidonVue aids in the execution of each step in the process.

The California Institute of Technology (Caltech) has selected software provider e-Builder's Enterprise product as its capital PM system to manage and control project delivery, reports News Blaze.

Caltech's design and construction team will also leverage e-Builder's workflow automation engine during facility planning, design and construction.

E-Builder Enterprise will allow Caltech's design and construction team to standardise how project managers execute a broad set of processes, including contract approvals, change management, purchase orders, transmittals, RFIs, and more.

TDC has renamed its online project management and collaboration suite TaskPoint, according to PR Web.

The service, which provides SMEs with online project management capabilities by combining a comprehensive PM suite with various collaboration tools, has been known since its release in October 2009 as PMP HQ.

The company says: "We believe the new name will better convey the scope of our services. Our goal is to provide single point, single source for all the project-related information for SMEs.”
