On 31 May, the official announcement and launch of the Top ICTe Companies 2005/2006 book confirmed Gush Technology Solutions qualification as one of the Top ICTe Companies in SA.
The fourth edition of this prestigious publication was launched by Corporate Research Foundation (CRF) in The Park Hyatt hotel in Johannesburg.
A variety of companies in diverse sectors are profiled in this publication, from global giants to specialised niche-market suppliers. All have been analysed on macro- and micro-business factors.
"Gush is proud to be included among so many worthy ICT companies featured in the book and will continue working hard to maintain and grow its influence in the South African and international ICT arena," says Gary Stanley, Gush CEO.
Based in SA, Gush continues its drive to deliver business solutions that work to the national and international arena.
The companies featured in the 2005/6 edition "have prepared for tomorrow not by trying to second-guess the future but by ensuring an unshakable foundation is built for it today", asserts Arthur Goldstuck, World Wide Worx.
Top ICTe Companies in South Africa: 2005/6 is endorsed by key South African federations: Cape Information Technology Initiative (CITI), Computing Technology Industry Association (Comptia), Computer Society of South Africa (CSSA), Electronics Industries Federation, and Institute of People Management (IPM). The Minister of Science and Technology, Mosibudi Mangena, graciously undertook to write the preface and was enthusiastic about being involved in this way.
A team of leading academics has worked closely with CRF, once again, to ensure the updated selection criteria are relevant and topical. Companies that agreed to be included in the initial research opened their doors to business journalists on CRF`s research team, who, through interviews with key directors and staff, confirmed whether a company qualified for selection and publication.
CRF is an independent international organisation that initiates, co-ordinates and delivers international business research projects worldwide. CRF originated in the Netherlands in 1992 and today has offices in six countries on three continents. The South African CRF office has been operating since 1997. CRF represents a combined initiative of business journalists, academics, associations and international publishers. It manages the research, writing, editing, production, marketing and distribution of all its publications.
CRF distributes thousands of books in SA via various channels and internationally to ensure global exposure of SA`s top ICTe companies.
