HansaWorld, an ERP and CRM software developer, has rooted itself even further into the South African market, by appointing Afresh Consult as its value-added reseller (VAR) in the Western Cape region.
Afresh Consult was established by Ruaan Smith and Immo B"ohm. B"ohm founded Active Business Solutions, the HansaWorld VAR in Namibia since 2004. Smith joined Active Business Solutions in 2005. They developed a strong customer base, with The Namibian, Namibia`s largest English newspaper, as one of their first customers. Their success in the Namibian market holds promise for the Cape-based branch, as they take on both the SME and enterprise markets in the local region.
Having opened for business earlier this year, Afresh hosted its opening launch on 14 June in Stellenbosch and has generated positive interest in the Western Cape.
Smith is eager to present HansaWorld solutions to the market, as he feels it is one of the few ERP solutions providing value for money, while maintaining high quality functionality. He has set a goal to position HansaWorld as the only truly integrated solution that creates value and ROI for business. Smith has set a target of six new implementations by the end of 2006 - a goal he feels confident about, knowing the success in Namibia.
Brendan Peo, HansaWorld SAF Country Manager in South Africa, identifies the partner channel as integral to the company`s market consolidation strategy. Although just 18 months in operation, the Centurion-based office is involved in many prominent new client contracts, as well as growing its VAR channel by appointing successful partners in strategic locations.
